The O’Keeffes(OK’s) from Cork City, Ireland, are three young brothers that spent many a summer day contemplating what their destiny held for them.

Natural raw talent is what the O'Keeffe name has fashioned and their ability to entertain has been demonstrated since the bo...ys moved to Jersey where they captivated the live music scene for many years. Since then both Paul & Jamie have moved to The States, with Paul now playing in a very popular New Jersey band called ‘Days Before Tomorrow’ & Jamie playing with ‘Kingbaby’ in LA. Ali has since moved to Spain were he has played with The Monos as well as forming his own 3 & 5 Piece Bands.
Whilst the brothers longed to play together again a reunion seemed unlikely, due to the distances involved!! Thankfully for all music & band enthusiasts the opportunity has come for the band to reunite. This will be an extra special occasion as the brothers will be joined on stage by their father, John O’Keeffe.

The bands ability to adapt their set to suit any environment, blended with their unique infectious harmonies has earnt them the privilege of being asked to accompany JJ Gilmour ('Silencers') on tour as his backing band to promote his new album 'Sunny Side Pal', whilst also having the accolade of supporting such bands as 'The Brand New Heavies', 'Deacon Blue', 'Ian Brown', 'Supernaturals', ‘Kasabian’, ‘Futureheads’, The Bravers’ and 'The Cosmic Rough Riders' to name but a few.

Thursday 17th & Sunday 20th May will rank right at the top of Spectacular Nights of Entertainment at the Sod. We can’t emphasis enough the level of talent that will be on show over these two nights. Be sure not to miss out!!!

Nice a reunion of the boys. Can't believe Jonny wouldn't go there. Hope there will be some oics of the brothers performing and hopefully Jonny attending.

Jayjay commented that Jonny may be in Spain in May. So, family meeting can be in their plans. If we are lucky, may come some pics.

Editha, hope you don't mind, but I checked Jamie's twitter (i follow him) as I had the idea that you might be parafrasing him wrongly. My assumption was correct. He wrote: sorry, I don't discuss my family. That is something totally different than not discussing with your family. He just doesn't talk about his family, and he really never does. Only last year he replied to Alec Baldwin's tweet. Alec had written that his heart goes out to Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Jamie replied I'll be sure to tell him. Jamie.

So, Jamie certainly talks to Jonny and the rest of his family, I am sure, but won't discuss it on internet. Jonny and his brothers and sisters are very close to each other.

Just wanted to clear that up.

Jonnys Brother Ali plays today in a Irish Bar (Stray Sod Irish Bar) in Alicante (Spain).

Terrace Music tonight from 8pm followed by music from the talented Ali O'Keeffe.
