What made me think it's a fake is when I looked through who he follows, come on, Mandy Moore? ...perhaps he does like her music, then what about the cheesy background tiles of himself? I'm probably being too analytical, but there are much more flattering, more recent and surly more sophisticated photos out there. That is just my useless thought about that

Yeah, profile background is unmanly and boys all over the world like to present themselves like macho men. Girly smile isn't theirs thing. I'd rather stay with "jrm_unofficial", it's not manly it's childish, but more likely. Even if this account is fake too.
Somehow I think that his real account, if he has it, have some random photo and name. And there is no way to figure it out.

Its difficult to say that it is his real acount.
The brothers Ali and Jamie don`t follow this acount.

True, but in all fairness, Ali isn't really active on twitter. Jamie is, but Jrm_Official is an official site (if it is really Jonny) and perhaps tat is the reason not to follow it.

Something new to add to the mystery of the JRM_Official twitter account.

But perhaps @jrhysmeyers.com is wrong.

Twitter does say it's responsible for the content of an official account, and the authenticity of identities. But who knows what all is involved in that legal clause. If they are taking sole responsibility even in extreme situations as a lawsuit for fraudulent "official" accounts, then it would seem legitimate. ...I don't know anymore.

Hey,Iam following this verified twitter account from the beginning.And I watched every day some times on it.And the owner of this site tried to say something and also to come in contact with fans.But the most maybe haven´t realized?As the owner posted something about Johnny Depps playing in The Rum Diary,some made not just nice comments.And who retweeted about the worldpresscom side,the lind who´s on the twitter account?? And who tweeted about what kind of books inspires Jonny??? Also I saw one morning a short little tweet ..."just did some workouts at the gym".Don´t know if anyone realized it.It was deleted after a while.And some people are talking not nice about Jonny and some fakes had their fun too.So...who wonder,nobody confirmed until now,it´s Jonny´s twitter account.I really don´t wonder,this twitter account is very quiet.

And I agree with you and Mandy about the private life. His girlfriend wrote it, so why may we not out it on a forum? It's not like we stalk him or anything.

Maybe it's not appropriate to post this here but it's related with your previous comments. Jrmfansite message board is full with rude people so called "loyal fans". I posted just one comment there a while ago, something like "he is cute but his smile is even better" and I received answer "why do you care, it's not your business, it's his free will" or something and i was like wow chill out. It was my first and last visit. And did you read rules topic? Don't do this, don't do that... I mean, this forum topic is not serious, we're all here to have some fun and as long as we respect each other it'll be fine.
Maybe I'm not interested in his private life but someone else does and if I don't want to read it I have possibility to press "stop watching this topic" button. And as Audrey and Trufa said she wrote it herself so who are those "loyal fans" to defend his private life when his own girlfriend don't respect his privacy.
I don't get celebrities, really. They are ready to cell their own life for a couple of sentences in a newspaper. Relationships are fragile, they could break anytime and when that happens both sides just want ti forget the last couple of months or years spent one with another and move on. Imagine that, you're in emotional pain and everywhere around you people talk and write about your break up. And after 5 years you are just an ex of a celebrity. I think it's a little pathetic.

About Tw account.... I don´t remember...but the pic of Viky and Jonny when he recorded the voice for "Eternal return" was share on FB? Her FB page is official and I think that the TW account also.

The photo you are referring to was posted on the Facebook of Eternal Return. But I tend to think the twitter is genuine too.

The acount at twitter from @MeyersRhys is not handle by Jonathan.
Its a fake.
